Pleiogynium Timoriense Fruit Extract description

_Pleiogynium timoriense_ fruit extract comes from a tree native to Australia that’s also known as the Burdekin plum. While there isn’t an extensive amount of independent research on this fruit’s benefit, what research exists is promising. One study found 17 different phenolic compounds within the flesh of this plum, resulting in high antioxidant activity. This makes the extract of this fruit especially valuable in products designed to fight the effects of free-radical damage (i.e., most of the visible signs of aging). _Pleiogynium timoriense_ fruit extract is part of an ingredient blend featuring glycerin, water, and other native Australian plums (_Terminalia ferdinandiana_ fruit extract and _Podocarpus elatus_ fruit extract) that is distributed under the trade name Wildplum Harvest™ AF. Use levels of this blend range from 1–2%.
